Job summary

American Airlines in Dallas is seeking a Maintenance Operations Controller to coordinate maintenance activities with Line Upkeep, Planning, Flight and MOC staff during and after SOF events.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in airline maintenance operations and an A&P license, with strong MS Office skills, time management, and analytical decision-making to support regulatory compliance and dashboard development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in airline maintenance operations.
• A&P license.
• Experience with AA support procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with SCENE, COGNOS, and stockroom.
• Strong MS Office skills and data presentation abilities.
• Excellent time management and communication in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and decisive reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with Line Upkeep, Planning gatherings, Flight and MOC staff during and after SOF events.
• Attend regular group, other arranged and extraordinary named/AOS SOF meetings.
• Examine and assess inaccessible SOF events; collaborate with Sr. Boss and EASD to address incidents.
• Track SOF designs and base drivers.
• Prepare presentations, develop dashboards, and draft correspondence for SOF or other MOC initiatives.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
