Highland Ridge Rehab is hiring an Infection Preventionist/Staff Development RN to lead infection control, staff education, and quality assurance within the Nursing Administration department.

The ideal candidate holds an active VA RN license with 2+ years in skilled nursing or long-term care, plus preferred infection control experience. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and a robust benefits package in a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• RN license (VA) required; active and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care.
• Certification or experience in Infection Control and Staff Education preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Responsabilités

• Quality Assurance: monitor, audit, and improve clinical systems for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Staff Development Coordinator: plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs and onboarding for nursing staff.
• Infection Preventionist: lead infection control efforts, ensure CDC & CMS guideline compliance, promote a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance (QA): Monitor, audit, and enhance clinical systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
