Job summary

Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin VA is seeking an Infection Preventionist/Staff Development RN to join our Nursing Administration team. This full-time role focuses on QA, staff onboarding, and leading infection prevention efforts to maintain CDC & CMS compliance.

Qualified candidates hold a Virginia RN license and have 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care; infection control or staff education credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current VA RN license
• Minimum 2 years in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Certification or experience in infection control and staff education preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance (QA): Monitor, audit, and enhance clinical systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Staff Development Coordinator (SDC): Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs and onboarding for nursing staff.
• Infection Preventionist (IP): Lead infection control efforts, maintain compliance with CDC & CMS guidelines, and promote a safe environment.

Education

Current VA RN license
