Job summary

Highland Ridge Rehab Center is seeking an Infection Preventionist/ Staff Development RN Nurse to lead infection control efforts and staff education within the Nursing Administration department. The role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will drive QA processes, develop educational programs, and ensure regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing setting. The position is full-time in the Nursing Administration department with competitive pay, PTO, and a strong focus

Qualifications

• Current RN license (VA)
• 2+ years in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care
• Certification or experience in Infection Control & Staff Education preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance (QA): Monitor, audit, and enhance clinical systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Staff Development Coordinator (SDC): Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs and onboarding for nursing staff.
• Infection Preventionist (IP): Lead infection control efforts, maintain compliance with CDC & CMS guidelines, and promote a safe environment.
