Oakwood-Health-and-Rehab is hiring an Infection Preventionist/Staff Development RN to lead infection control and staff education within our Nursing Administration team in Virginia. The role focuses on regulatory compliance and improving care quality.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Virginia.
• 2+ years in Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care.
• Certification or experience in Infection Control and Staff Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Monitor, audit, and enhance clinical systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Staff Development Coordinator: Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs and onboarding for nursing staff.
• Infection Preventionist: Lead infection control efforts, maintain CDC/CMS guideline compliance, and promote a safe environment.
