Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Infection Preventionist (RN) to lead the infection prevention and control program across a 90-bed skilled nursing facility in Chester, VA. You will develop training, oversee compliance, and collaborate with staff to ensure resident safety and regulatory standards.

Required are an active RN license, CPR/BLS, and experience in infection prevention and long-term care. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where you work.
• Maintain an active CPR or BLS Certification.
• Must have completed specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience teaching adult learners and at least 3 years in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the infection prevention and control program across the Community to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop and deliver training plans and materials; assess training efficacy.
• Serve as Staff Development Coordinator, organizing and evaluating educational programs.
• Identify training needs and ensure policies and procedures are current and compliant.
