Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Infection Preventionist and Staff Development Coordinator for a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on planning, directing, and evaluating the infection prevention program while ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.

The position requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and specialized infection prevention training, with experience teaching adults and working in long-term care.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed RN in the state of work.
Maintain CPR/BLS certification.
Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
Must have or complete training in infection prevention per state requirements.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software including LMS and EHR.
At least 2 years teaching adult learners and 3+ years in long-term care as SME.

Responsibilities

Oversee infection prevention and control program across the Community.
Develop training plans and materials; evaluate training efficacy.
Coordinate Staff Development Coordinator duties.
Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations.
