Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Infection Preventionist RN for a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on overseeing infection prevention and control, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with health standards.

The position requires an active RN license, CPR/BLS, and training in infection prevention. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate programs, and support ongoing education within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess current, unencumbered RN license in the state you work.
• Maintain active CPR or BLS Certification.
• Must complete specialized infection prevention training within first week of hire.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to navigate LMS and EHR systems.
• Must be able to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the infection prevention and control program across the community.
• Develop training plans and materials; evaluate training efficacy.
• Assess residents’ needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in delivering care.
• Ensure policies meet federal, state, and local standards.
