Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention and control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring to identify and address potential infection control risks
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices, as well as other topics as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective infection prevention and control strategies
• Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track infection rates and trends
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce hospital-acquired infections and improve patient outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in infection prevention and control, and implement new strategies and best practices as needed
