Job summary

Uplight, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Industry Solutions to lead our Industry Solutions team responsible for all pre-sales work and contracting deliverables that meet client outcomes.

You will recruit, mentor, and coach a talented team while coordinating with Sales, Implementation, Account Management, and Product teams. The role balances strategic process improvements with hands-on risk management and client escalations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience leading high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing priorities and evaluate situations to make impactful decisions quickly.
• Ability to build, maintain, and leverage partnerships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of the Industry Solutions team.
• Effectively coach, develop, and grow team members to achieve successful outcomes.
• Track, measure, and evaluate performance of the team to departmental goals.
• Drive team's performance to achievement of metrics and targets – timely, high-quality RFx and SOWs meeting client outcomes.
• Provide accountability for results and communicate performance to senior leadership.
• Raise ideas to leadership using thoughtful, constructive methods.
• Drive improvements through departmental strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance on solution designs and unblock the team during pre-sales activities.
