Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an experienced welder to operate welding equipment and assembly lines, building high‑quality parts and subassemblies. You will read drawings, adjust parameters, and weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.

A high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of welding experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. The role offers a competitive hourly pay plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, punching, shearing, cutting, forming, and assembly.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and drawings; write simple correspondence.
• Basic arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding and manufacturing equipment to build parts and subassemblies.
• Operate an overhead crane and adjust welding parameters for proper welds.
• Weld components in various positions and read measuring devices.
• Follow work instructions and read drawings accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and work in teams or alone as required.
