Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a skilled welder to operate welding and manufacturing equipment across production lines. The role involves assembling and welding metal parts, reading drawings, and maintaining quality and safety standards on a fast-paced production floor.

The candidate should have 3+ years of welding experience in manufacturing, be able to read prints, and work well in both team and individual settings. This onsite role offers competitive hourly pay and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years welding experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, punching, shearing, cutting, forming and assembly.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts.
• Adjust welding leads, current, feed and gas for welds.
• Cut and form metal parts using hand tools or welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Train and work across production areas as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
