SPX Technologies is hiring a welder to operate welding and manufacturing equipment, building parts and assemblies for HVAC and detection equipment. You will read blueprints, adjust weld settings, and work on multiple production lines, applying quality standards and safety procedures.

The role requires reading drawings, 3+ years welding experience, and the ability to work on overhead crane-equipped lines. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years welding experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use measuring devices and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in various positions and read measurements accurately.
• Utilize overhead crane to maneuver parts safely.
