SPX Technologies is seeking a skilled welder to operate welding and manufacturing equipment to build high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products. You will work on multiple production lines, reading drawings, setting weld parameters, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years of welding experience in manufacturing, ability to read drawings, and strong attention to detail. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, punching, shearing, cutting, forming, and assembly.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.
• Adjust welding leads, current, feed, and gas to proper weld configurations.
• Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
• Read drawings and follow work instructions.
