Job summary

Stantec is seeking a process or mechanical engineer, or engineer-in-training focused on industrial wastewater treatment to join our Industrial Water team. This role offers diverse planning, design, and construction projects under the guidance of senior engineers across multiple offices.

You will perform calculations, prepare reports and specifications, create design drawings, and participate in field work while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 1–3 years of experience in process or mechanical engineering for industrial clients.
• Hybrid working arrangement may be available.
• ABET accreditation preferred for candidates.

Responsibilities

• Support project team in design documentation, plans, and reports.
• Develop designs using CAD and 3D modeling tools.
• Prepare facility layouts, diagrams, and P&ID development assistance.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design intent.
• Assist with site observations, contract administration tasks, and data gathering for reports.
