Stantec is seeking an Industrial Water Client and Market Development Lead to help grow our practice across the US North region and beyond. The role blends strategic client development, pursuit leadership, account management, project delivery, and technical expertise to deliver innovative industrial water solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of related experience in industrial water, water/wastewater, process engineering, consulting, client and market development, or project delivery.
• At least 10 years of experience with direct client service management and/or business development.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Grow and strengthen industrial water client relationships through strategic account management.
• Lead and support strategic pursuits, proposals, internal cross-selling, and client and market development initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across industrial water opportunities including treatment, reuse, process water, and wastewater.
• This is a seller-doer role with about half time on business development and half on project work.
• Mentor junior staff and support development of future technical leaders and account managers.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering

PE License

Master’s degree preferred
