Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Industrial Water Client and Market Development Lead to grow our Industrial Water practice across the US North region and beyond. Reporting to the US North Regional Leader, this role blends strategic client development with pursuit leadership, account management, and project delivery to provide innovative water solutions.

You will spend roughly half your time on business development and half on project work, mentoring staff, and coordinating with leaders across regions to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of related industrial water, water/wastewater, process engineering, consulting, client & market development, or project delivery.
• At least 10 years of direct client service management and/or business development.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic client development and account management to grow Stantec’s industrial water practice.
• Provide technical leadership and project management across industrial water projects (treatment, reuse, process water, wastewater, infrastructure).
• Balance business development with project work in a seller-doer role (about 50/50).
• Collaborate with leadership to align marketing development plans and pursue opportunities across regions and industries.
