Job summary

Stantec seeks an Industrial Water Client and Market Development Lead to advance the growth of our Industrial Water practice across the US North region and beyond.

Reporting to the US North Regional Industrial Water Practice Leader, this role combines strategic client development, pursuit leadership, account management, project management and technical expertise to deliver innovative industrial water solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience in industrial water, water/wastewater, process engineering, consulting, client and market development, or project delivery.
• At least 10 years of experience with direct client service management and/or business development.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Grow and strengthen industrial water client relationships through strategic account management and collaboration with Project Managers, Account Managers, and regional leadership.
• Lead and support strategic pursuits, proposals, internal cross-selling, and client and market development initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and/or project management across industrial water opportunities and projects.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, project teams, and pursuit teams.
• Mentor junior staff and support development of future leaders, client developers, and account managers.
• Connect subject matter experts across regions to pursue strategic opportunities and deliver integrated solutions.
