Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Industrial Water Client and Market Development Lead to grow our Industrial Water practice across the US North region and beyond. You will blend strategic client development, pursuit leadership, and technical expertise to deliver innovative water solutions.

Reporting to the US North Regional Leader, you’ll manage key accounts, lead proposals, and collaborate with regional leadership while balancing business development with project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required for this role.
• 15+ years in industrial water, water/wastewater, process engineering, consulting, or project delivery.
• At least 10 years in client service management and/or business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and expand industrial water client relationships across regions.
• Own pursuing strategic opportunities, proposals, and cross-selling with teams.
• Provide technical leadership and project management on water treatment and reuse projects.
• Balance seller-doer duties with project work across multiple industries.
