Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level wastewater process engineer to contribute to the design of industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. You will work on front-end concept development, detailed design, and possible field testing with support from IWTO experts.

The role includes site visits and potential rapid advancement into project management and client development. The position is hybrid, with projects across the United States (Houston, Dallas, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Novi, Highlands

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Function as the wastewater process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects with support from senior staff.
• Assist in developing drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with drafters and other disciplines to complete construction documents.
• Support construction phase activities including submittals and RFIs.
• Verify conformity with design drawings through field inspections and testing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize processes; perform pilot and bench testing and lab analyses.
• Analyze water quality data and plant operating information; implement senior feedback.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
