Job summary

Arcadis in the United States seeks a wastewater process engineer for industrial water/wastewater projects within the IWTO team. You will design, document, and lead small-to-mid tasks with support from subject matter experts, including field work and site visits.

Open locations include Houston, Dallas, or other US sites. This entry-level role offers rapid advancement into project management and client development while working in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge with water/wastewater treatment processes.
• Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in related engineering fields.

Responsibilities

• Function as the wastewater process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects, with support from Arcadis' IWTO process engineers, senior engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Assist in developing drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with drafters/designers and other disciplines to complete construction documents.
• Support engineering services during construction on projects, including submittal reviews and RFIs.
• Verify performance and conformity with design drawings via field inspection.
• Perform process troubleshooting, pilot testing, and lab analysis of treatment technologies.
