Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a wastewater process engineer to join the Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization (IWTO) team. The role involves leading design tasks on industrial water and wastewater projects, collaborating with senior engineers and subject matter experts, and performing field work across U.S.

facilities. This entry-level path offers rapid advancement into project management and client development, with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in relevant engineering fields required.
• Master's degree in environmental or chemical engineering preferred.
• Exposure to industrial water/wastewater treatment design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design tasks on industrial water/wastewater projects with support from IWTO experts.
• Assist with drawings, calculations, P&IDs, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with drafters/designers to prepare construction documents.
• Support construction phase services including submittals and RFIs.
• Perform field visits for equipment evaluation, testing, and commissioning.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and optimization of treatment processes.
