Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to service on-site weighing equipment at customer sites within the assigned region. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs, travel up to 20–30% by vehicle or plane, and maintain professional relations with customers.

You will document work, support installations, and provide user training while communicating with internal teams to ensure uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry background.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred; commercial experience desired.
• Willingness to learn METTLER TOLEDO software.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations and repairs with senior techs.
• Provide end-user training on equipment use and care.
• Document work in service software and maintain records daily.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Support, sales, and technicians to meet uptime targets.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory in good order.
• Assist with service revenue by identifying needs and submitting leads.
• Follow safety, policy, and quality standards at all times.
