Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and calibrate floor and bench scales at customer sites. You will troubleshoot issues, assist with installations, and train operators on proper use of equipment across your region.

You will document work, coordinate with support teams, and travel as needed. The role requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with travel often by vehicle or plane.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5 years relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain a Weights and Measures license if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations and repairs with senior technicians.
• Provide end-user training on proper equipment use and care.
• Document work performed and update service records using service software.
• Communicate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, sales, and technicians to meet uptime targets.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory in a clean, organized, compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads as appropriate.
• Follow safety and quality policies to ensure a safe work environment.
