Job summary

The Food Source International is seeking a Sales Support Representative focused on industrial ingredients and seasonings. You will provide administrative and operational support across the sales process, coordinating with R&D, Logistics, Accounting, and Operations.

You will prepare sales reports, quotes, and proposals, assist with pricing documents, and monitor orders, shipments, and invoicing. You will communicate with internal teams and clients to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction,

Qualifications

• 2+ years working with customers in a service-focused role.
• 2-3 years of experience in sales support, administrative, or customer service roles, preferably within the industrial ingredients, food manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and ability to assist in creating quotes, proposals, and reports.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in sales support, customer service, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a key point of contact for the sales team, providing administrative and operational support throughout the sales process.
• Collaborates with Research and Development, Logistics, Accounting, and Operations to ensure timely order processing, inventory management, and delivery coordination.
• Prepares and maintains sales reports, customer records, and pricing documentation to support data-driven decision-making.
• Assists in the development of proposals, quotes, and product presentations while addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitors order progress, tracks shipments, and ensures accurate billing and invoicing.
• Maintains clear communication with internal teams and external clients to streamline workflows and support business growth initiatives.
• Continuously identifies process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
