Job summary

Employee Force Provider - EFP Staffing is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our industrial laundry and production environment. The Safety Coordinator will report to the Safety Director, General Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Operations and will play an important role in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience working in safety, health, and environmental programs in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-hire safety orientations and mandatory trainings.
• Maintain employee training records and safety documentation.
• Perform routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and document findings.
• Lead weekly safety conversations and promote safe work practices.
• Maintain safety metrics, incident reports, and corrective actions.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support OSHA compliance and site safety plans.
• Monitor hazards including machine guarding, LOTO, chemicals, ergonomics, and PPE.
• Maintain SDS, chemical inventories, and hazard communication.
• Communicate findings to management and employees.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production staff to improve safety.
• Engage employees through safety committees and activities.
• Update fire extinguishers and first-aid kits regularly.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.
