Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an Account Manager to drive effective sales in assigned regions, develop new customer accounts, and advise on service center capabilities. The role focuses on distributing and local motor/power management sales while cross-selling IPS product lines.

You will collaborate with business development to identify prospects, tailor proposals, and establish lasting client relationships, leveraging IPS’s market leadership in North America and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Understanding of advanced rotating electrical AC/DC machines.
• 4 year degree in Engineering or other technical applications preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and reasoning abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to analyze and interpret data and take action.
• Extremely detail-oriented with sound problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and maintain high degree of organization.
• Excellent time management.
• 3+ years of selling experience with similar product applications in an industrial environment.

Aufgaben

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team, determine sales strategy, call on customers, and follow up with additional visits and correspondence as appropriate.
• Analyze and understand customer requirements.
• Coordinate the efforts of technical specialists for development of proposals for complicated customer modifications.
• Present proposals to customers.
• Establish long-term customer relationships utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilities.
• Consult with appropriate management on problems involving pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations.
• Have thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitive bid situations.
