Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks experienced Power Field Service Technicians to support industrial power customers at job sites across the region and nationwide. We require direct power experience and offer three levels (Technician I-III) with pay based on experience and demonstrated field capabilities.

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of power equipment and related systems.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on power experience is required.
• Experience with generators, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, controls, motors, and related power equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Ability to safely use tools and electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial power equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections, start-ups, shutdowns, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, and instrumentation issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and document work performed, test results, and corrective actions.
• Work directly with customers, supervisors, engineers, contractors, and other technicians.
• Follow company, customer, LOTO, and job-site safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, vehicles, and PPE.
• Transport tools, equipment, materials, and personnel as required.
• Provide technical guidance to less-experienced technicians based on experience level.
• Travel extensively to customer sites and project locations.
