Job summary

Power-Generation-and-Distribution-Services is seeking experienced Industrial Electrical Field Technicians to test, troubleshoot, commission, maintain and repair critical electrical systems across multiple industries. You will solve problems, work safely, support teammates, and complete jobs with dedication.

Travel is 95% domestically to customer sites, substations, marine vessels, and generator locations. You will read diagrams and manufacturer docs, and perform maintenance on high-, medium-,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of electrical/industrial maintenance or field service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in electrical environments.
• Willingness to travel 95% domestically.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED, and LOTO training or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with substations or industrial power environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, startup, preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Work on low, medium, and high-voltage equipment including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, generators, relays, and power distribution systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
• Use laptops, tablets, testing software, and Microsoft Office to complete electronic reports and communicate project information.
• Travel throughout the United States supporting customer projects.
