Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a skilled painting professional for a project located in Sulphur, LA, on the US Gulf Coast. The role involves surface preparation, primer and finish application, and protective masking to ensure a paint-ready surface. A minimum of 48 months of industrial construction experience is required.

The work supports major LNG infrastructure projects and Bechtel’s tradition of safety, integrity, and career development opportunities on long-term sites.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation - Clean, scrape, sand, fill holes, and patch surfaces to ensure a smooth, paint-ready finish.
• Paint application - Apply primer, sealers, paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers according to specifications.
• Protective measures - Cover trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths, or other protective materials.
• Typically requires 48 months of industrial construction experience.

Job Summary:

Project Location:Sulphur, LA

Pay Range:$25.50 - $28.00

Per Diem:$100 / per day worked.
