Job summary

MaintainX is seeking an OT integration specialist on the Solutions Consulting team to connect plant equipment to our platform. You will run OT discovery with operations and controls teams, map data sources to connectors, and demo live OT integrations using the customer’s own equipment.

You will scope integrations with Implementation and Professional Services, partner with Solutions Architects on custom work, and capture recurring integration requests as product feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role: solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, implementation, integrations or similar.
• Real exposure to manufacturing or industrial operations, and how work gets done on the plant floor.
• Experience designing or supporting API-based integrations, data workflows or automation.
• Working knowledge of OT data sources such as SCADA, historians, PLCs or industrial gateways.
• Ability to explain data flows to an operations manager and an IT lead in the same meeting, and adjust to each.
• Experience running several evaluations at once while keeping every technical detail straight.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical story for every deal where a customer’s machines and sensors need to connect to MaintainX.
• Run OT discovery with operations and controls teams, map data sources to the right connector, and define scope before close.
• Demo OT connectors live using the prospect’s own equipment and data to showcase MaintainX.
• Scope integrations with Implementation and Professional Services, ensuring live deployments.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects on custom OT work and hand off a clear technical brief.
• Log recurring integration requests as product feedback to guide connector roadmap.
• Work daily with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Implementation, Product and R&D; become the go-to OT contact over time.
