Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a skilled OT/MES integration specialist to lead MES-OT interfaces across PLCs, SCADA, historians and factory equipment. You will drive data enablement from shop-floor systems up to MES, configure and validate OPC UA connectivity, and collaborate with automation, IT and OT teams to resolve integration issues while supporting SIT/UAT/FAT and Go-Live activities.

Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 and MES implementation lifecycle is essential.

Qualifications

Experience with OT environments in manufacturing plants.
Hands-on experience with OPC UA/OPC DA, PLC integration, SCADA, Historian systems.
Knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88 and MESA standards.
Strong understanding of Manufacturing Operations: production, quality, OEE.
Ability to troubleshoot OT connectivity between PLC, SCADA, OPC and MES.
Experience in MES implementation lifecycle from requirements to hypercare.

Responsibilities

Lead MES-OT integration activities with PLCs, SCADA, Historians and plant equipment.
Support interfaces between MES, SAP, UNS and other enterprise systems.
Drive OT data enablement from shop-floor to MES.
Configure and validate OPC UA connectivity and tag mapping.
Work closely with plant automation, IT and OT teams to resolve integration issues.
Support SIT, UAT, FAT and Go-Live activities.
Prepare technical documentation including HLD, LLD and deployment guides.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and operational efficiency.
