Job summary

Kinetik is seeking an OT Integration Engineer to design, build, and support data pipelines, APIs, and integration services across OT and IT environments. You will enable reliable data movement from SCADA, historians, and ERP systems to analytics platforms, empowering safer operations.

You will implement MQTT / Sparkplug B brokers, OPC UA, REST APIs, and SQL models while promoting secure data contracts, CI/CD, and scalable data architectures in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of data, integration, software engineering, industrial automation, OT/IT analytics, or related work.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, including views, stored procedures, and data validation.
• Experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting production data pipelines, APIs, and integration services.
• Familiarity with MQTT / Sparkplug B, OPC UA, REST APIs, historian integrations, and secure data movement.
• Understanding OT environments and basic OT cybersecurity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support data pipelines, APIs, and integration services across OT and IT environments.
• Connect SCADA platforms, historians, databases, APIs, and business systems for reliable data movement.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and fault handling for production pipelines.
• Promote secure data contracts, schemas, naming standards, and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Measurement, and Engineering teams during design and troubleshooting.
• Maintain data ownership and support CI/CD and maintainable development practices.
