Job summary

Georgia‑Pacific is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our Green Bay Broadway facility. This hands‑on role focuses on maintaining and repairing pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and other mill equipment to ensure reliability.

You will troubleshoot equipment, interpret drawings, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance while upholding safety and environmental guidelines. Overtime may be required based on mill needs.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Technical degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical manufacturing equipment to support reliable operation.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose mechanical failures, and identify appropriate repairs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and specifications to support troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and unplanned maintenance.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while supporting the vision of creating an environment where no one can ever get hurt.
• Communicate maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and reliability needs with team members and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability across the mill.
