Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our Green Bay Broadway facility. This hands-on role works with electrical, instrumentation, and automated manufacturing systems, troubleshooting and repairing equipment to improve reliability and performance. The position features a 2-2-3, 12-hour swing shift with a $7/hour shift premium.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment.
• Journeyman Electrician with manufacturing experience.
• Technical degree in an electrical or instrumentation field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical, instrumentation, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and prints to troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, and associated equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation, including pressure, level, flow, temperature, and consistency transmitters.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and unplanned maintenance while identifying repeat failures and reliability opportunities.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines to maintain a safe workplace.
• Communicate maintenance activities and reliability needs with team members and stakeholders.
