Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its West Chester, OH facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery, with emphasis on mechanical and electrical systems.

The position is on 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) and requires overtime, holidays, and weekend availability. Responsibilities include routine preventive maintenance, rapid repairs, and collaboration with a skilled maintenance team to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical knowledge with electric motor installation and frequency drive troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Lenze, Siemens)
• Reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors
• Troubleshooting hydraulics, fluid, and pneumatics

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability.
• Perform routine scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Respond to unscheduled floor calls, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with a sense of urgency.
• Work in collaboration with a knowledgeable maintenance team and communicative leadership.
