Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Middletown, OH is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 2-2-3 shift. Starting wage is $31.75 per hour, focusing on maintaining and repairing production equipment to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

You will plan and implement preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics, perform basic welding, install new equipment, and communicate repair steps and timelines to plant personnel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace mechanical components in manufacturing equipment.
• Plan and maintain preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Perform routine, emergency and preventive maintenance; install or assist in new equipment.
