BlueScope Coated Products in Middletown, OH is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment and execute preventive maintenance to maximize reliability. This full-time, 2-2-3 shift role starts at $36/hour and offers opportunities to optimize maintenance costs and equipment availability.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyman licensed with 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• PLCs: Allen-Bradley SLC 500, RSLogix 5/500/5000, PLC5, ControlLogix, Micrologix, PanelView.
• Strong electrical knowledge (circuit breakers and fixtures).
• Fault-finding experience with electrical systems.
• Reads blueprints and schematics with ease.
• Good communication to explain issues clearly.
• Physically capable of demanding work (lift up to 75 lbs).

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine, emergency and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Review equipment manuals to create audit items and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Install or assist in installing new equipment and ensure proper alignment.
• Develop solutions for control problems and continuous improvement projects.
• Diagnose faults quickly to minimize downtime.
• Communicate steps, parts and timelines to plant personnel.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
