Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain and repair production equipment on the Middletown shop floor. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and drive maintenance programs to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize costs.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, PLC experience (Allen-Bradley), and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Starting wage is $36/hr with full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience: High school diploma or GED; journeyman license with 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Proficient in PLC systems and electrical control troubleshooting; ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Strong electrical knowledge; capable of physically demanding work including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems for production equipment.
• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Study manuals to develop audit items and preventive maintenance schedules.
