Job summary

JE Dunn Construction invites applications for a Project Manager, Industrial/Manufacturing in the Atlanta area. You’ll lead safety, preconstruction, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management on large-scale industrial and data center projects, coordinating with owners, architects, and field teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering or related field and 5+ years of construction management experience, with strong knowledge of Lean, scheduling software, and project

Qualifications

• Safety culture and leadership in project teams.
• Experience with preconstruction activities and bid package development.
• Strong project controls, budgeting, and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages the prestart and buyout processes; coordinates with bidders and SOW development.
• Supports preconstruction with quantity takeoff, trade coordination, and schedule development.
• Manages submittal schedule setup and reviews shop drawings for approval.
• Coordinates with logistics for pricing and procurement; communicates changes to stakeholders.
• Provides written documentation for critical decisions affecting budget, schedule, or safety.
• Leads project meetings (monthly reviews, OAC) and maintains regular reporting on status and profitability.
• Oversees monthly cost and margin forecast; supports budget development and variance analysis.
• Leads end-of-contract closeout with documentation and warranties; interfaces with legal as needed.
