Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support design and execution on industrial/manufacturing projects from our Atlanta team. You’ll assist in general construction management, QA/QC, and self-perform work while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver on schedule.

You will participate in safety and quality plans, prepare reports, and help manage change and cost controls using CMiC and standard JE Dunn processes. Travel and varied hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• May require travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Supports routine construction and field execution on projects using company standards and tools.
• Participates in project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Assists with estimating, change management, quantity take-offs, and subcontractor proposals.
• On-site support: monitor crew size, hours, materials, quantity, and equipment.
• Maintains drawings, specs, and project documentation; attends project meetings.
• Tracks progress reports, schedules, manpower, and equipment for scheduling support.
• Supports close-out activities including punch lists, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.
