Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold production equipment, facilities, and grounds in a manufacturing setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and fabricate repair parts to keep downtime minimal.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in maintenance and a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, with safe work practices and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical schooling in maintenance fields preferred.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience recommended.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and manuals; perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Replace defective parts and analyze root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Measure and adjust parts using calipers, micrometers, and other instruments.
• Respond to downtime to minimize equipment unavailability; communicate status to production teams.
• Fabricate repair parts using mills, lathes, and drill presses.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Document actions and report maintenance data and trends.
• Work safely and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Operate HMIs, VFDs, and PLCs for advanced equipment adjustments.
