Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade School (required).
• Ability to use inspections of equipment to ensure the quality of the parts being produced.
• Ability to physically do the work requiring frequent standing, bending and lifting to 20 lbs. frequently and 40–60 lbs. occasionally.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machine and inspect parts, and manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
• Ability to pass the respiratory test per OSHA requirement.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on a variety of equipment to carry out preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment.
• Reading, interpreting, and programming PLC controllers and languages.
• Determining root cause of equipment failures and developing preventative measures.
• Performing electrical/mechanical fabrication and alterations.
• Diagnosing machine operation failures and downtime utilizing machine manuals, PLCs, and other tools.
