Job summary

Oatey in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve production equipment across lines. You will be accountable for downtime, participate in OEE metrics, and uphold plant safety and lean manufacturing standards.

Qualifications include a minimum of two years in production maintenance, HazMat recertification, and strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems. A high school diploma and PLC-related certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of production maintenance experience.
Completed 24-hour HazMat training refresher and adheres to procedures.
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems; able to troubleshoot PLCs and read AC/DC circuits.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork to support production lines.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems without supervision.
Works in a team environment and participates in problem-solving.
Runs Preventative Maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Installs motors, pumps, compressors, and related components.
Responds to production support calls and supports changeovers and setups.
Uses a range of hand and power tools to maintain equipment.
