Job summary

M&H Valve Company in Anniston, AL is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment. You will work with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and rigging, using CMMS to log work orders and hours.

The role requires safety focus and the ability to read diagrams and manuals. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent, with vocational maintenance training or an apprenticeship and hands-on experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational certificate in Industrial Maintenance or completion of apprenticeship; or two years' experience in industrial maintenance.
• Passing written and hands-on exam to demonstrate competency in mechanical maintenance including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, piping, lubrication, and rigging.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and team safety and maintain a safe work environment.
• Inspects, operates, or tests machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams and manuals.
• Request equipment and supplies to complete installation/repair.
• Dismantle/repair machine parts using hand tools, hoists, or power tools.
• Install or replace machine parts per production specs and use measuring instruments.
• Log labor hours in CMMS and communicate with team to coordinate projects.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and reduce bottlenecks.
