Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Vocational certificate program in Industrial Maintenance, Electrician, or related program plus two years' experience; or four years' experience in industrial maintenance.
• Must have intermediate computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Advanced Mechanical Path: proficient in cutting and welding components; exams for mechanical competency.
• Advanced Electrical Path: knowledge to work on higher voltage systems and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of team members.
• Assist supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Wear PPE including fall, respiratory, hearing, and eye protection.
• Use proper lifting and ergonomic techniques.
• Promote The McWane Way Principles.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Plan and lay out repair work from diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
