Job summary

M&H Valve Company is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure safe operation of manufacturing equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and service machinery, maintain inventory for parts and supplies, and document work in the CMMS system.

You’ll work with a team to minimize downtime and improve processes. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience or certification in industrial maintenance, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance preferred; or 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, pumps and piping, lubrication, and rigging acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and team safety; follow PPE requirements.
• Assist supervisors to maintain safe work environment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Plan repair work using manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Request tools and supplies; ensure inventory availability.
• Operate and test machinery; log labor hours in CMMS.
• Coordinate with team on installations and projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
