McWane, Inc. via M&H Valve Company in Alabama seeks an Industrial Maintenance professional to maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, piping and related machinery while promoting a safe work environment.

The role emphasizes diagnosis, repair, and adherence to company principles. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational maintenance training or apprenticeship, basic computer skills, and the ability to read diagrams and repair manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a vocational certificate program in Industrial Maintenance or related program; or completion of a formal apprenticeship; or two years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
• Passing written and hands-on exam to demonstrate competency in mechanical maintenance: hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps and piping, lubrication, and rigging.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensures personal safety and the safety of team members.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment.
• Inspects, operates, or tests machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Plans repair work using diagrams, drawings, manuals or schematics.
• Dismantles machines and replaces faulty parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Records production, repair and maintenance information.
• Completes CMMS work orders and logs labor hours.
• Coordinates with supervisor and other trades to complete installations and repairs.
• Works on continuous improvement projects.

Education

High school diploma/GED

Vocational certificate program in Industrial Maintenance or related program; or completion of formal apprenticeship; or two years’ experience in industrial maintenance
