Job summary
The M&H Valve Company in Alabama is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to support both electrical and mechanical paths on multi-craft assignments. You will follow detailed instructions, use CMMS, and work under limited supervision to diagnose and repair equipment.
Advanced mechanical and electrical paths require reading schematics, wiring, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting, and collaboration with supervisors to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Trade or vocational cert in Industrial Maintenance is a plus.
- Apprenticeship program with two years experience acceptable.
- Must have intermediate computer skills.
- Minimum 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Ensures personal safety and the safety of your team members.
- Inspects, operates, or tests machinery to diagnose machine malfunction.
- Plans and lays out repair work using diagrams, drawings, maintenance manuals, schematics, or other specification to determine repair or installation procedures.
- Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
- Advanced Mechanical Path: reads drawings, assembles and tests hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
