Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Worker in Anchorage to perform preventive maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems. You will assist the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer, and report to the Chief Engineer in a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, maintaining tools and records, and supporting process improvements while ensuring minimal downtime and reliable operation in a fast-paced industrial laundry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work with power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems.
• Assist the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer as required, reporting to the Chief Engineer.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures; support continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
